'Fyah' is the debut solo album from the mighty Theon Cross, the tubist who is one f the backbones of the current UK jazz scene. Featuring Moses Boyd, Nubya Garcia, Wayne Francis (Ahnansé), Artie Zaitz, Tim Doyle and Nathaniel Cross in the band. The album includes a heavy afro beat number 'Candace of Meroe' which I'm sure we are going to be hearing a lot this year. Well recommended!
