Love this! Debut album from Paris-based, Venezuelan quartet, Insólito UniVerso, on the fantastic Olindo records. Co-produced by The Heliocentrics' Malcolm Catto; the band fuse traditional Venezuelan styles such as joropo, merengue caraqueño, tambores de San Millán with psych, chanson, with contemporary electronics.  'La candela del río' was listed in best 50 albums of 2018 by Vinyl Factory. A really unique record.
