This is a special one, Strut Records present a previously CD-only album by Ghanaian percussionist Okyerema Asante which was recorded in 1977 but not released until 1993 on Black Fire records. 'Drum Message' features Plunky, members of Oneness of Juju, and the great Brian Jackson on piano. It's an amazing album that features a great cover version of Oneness Of Juju's 'Follow Me', and one of the best re-issues we have heard this year!
